3 tbsp EVOO
3 large onions, sliced
3 (14 oz) cans of beef broth
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup dry white wine (optional)

grated gruyere, parmesan, or swiss cheese
- Cook onions and EVOO in a large skillet for about 15 min. until soft and very light brown.
- Put onions, beef broth, wine, and Worcestershire sauce in slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 4-4 1/2 hours
- Serve shredded cheese and bread on the side
